Call the number above and tell Virgil Goode’s campaign that we don’t like him collecting lobbyist money, and we like it even less when you throw a Lobbyist Party on an anniversary of tragedy.
What’s next, a fundraiser on December 7, 2008?

As a flight attendant on 9/11/2001, as we passed the second plane that hit the WTC, I am in SHOCK!!
When I see a GOODE sign, when I see him on TV, when I see an ad in a newspaper, I will only remember that these things were paid for by the PARTY he had on 9/11!!
I will remember his selfishness when I go to VOTE.
I hope you will too.
9/11 is a sacred day of mourning in America.
We have not forgotten.
Virgil needs to resign or retire.
He is not worthy of being our Congressman.
Here’s what happens when a concerned citizen tries to “pay-to-play” at Virgil’s party on 9/11: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ftfze9GAfCE
The address: 101 Constitution Avenue (across the street from the US Capitol)
The actual invite is in this video. And right above the picture of the Capitol is an advertisement of Virgil’s seat on the Appropriations Committee.
Other lobbyists in the building: Honeywell, FedEx, Washington Gas.
When asked about Goode’s seat on the Appropriations Committe…a representative said “that has no relevance.” Really?
The event was not sold out but the representative said it was closed…..”We don’t need you here.”
Virgil Goode does not need concerned citizens from his district when he is raising money from corporate lobbyists on 9/11.
